I found it funny. And, believe it or not a lot of my friends had this issue with not closing the Gas tank cover properly. They panic with Check Engine light on and then check the gas tank cover and the light goes off in a day or two. I had the issue once, and can relate to it.
Not to judge anyone but the ignorance is seen in the ignorant comment rather than the original post..
