First of all, are we talking about the same thing? Shirish wrote, "The replays were shown again and again and again from the different angles and Ortiz indeed stole the base. I think the play AX was referring to was the one when Ortiz tried to steal the base and shocked everybody, because HE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO. He isn't a great runner and Posada caught him easily and was surprised how he dared do it. The replays weren't even needed as it was a clean catch and tag. Second, I agree with AX. Arod is a complete player. I'd have said that even if he were still in Texas or had signed with Red Sox. Manny is a great hitter, one of the best in the field. But he is just too slack at times, because of which no team wanted to pick him when he was released by his own club. Not saying bad about Manny, I'd have loved to have him on the club as a hitter, but you just can't make an argument saying Manny is as complete player as A-Rod.
