Hello to all and my dear mimroramero! How are you mimro?
-- I am pretty good, having fun on my vacation and US tour :) and thanks for asking.

As far as I know, when you have H1b from F1, and if you leave your job then you have to go back to school, I guess. Correct me please, if I am wrong. To be on the safe side, get you I-20 as soon as you can, and get in to the F1 status within that grace period that you will have when you quit your H1B.

If TPS does not get extended then, all of the TPS holder will go back to their previous status. But there is a good chance of getting extension for some years. Fingers crossed.

An overstay of 180 days to 12 months is an automatic 3 year ban. An overstay of more than a year is an automatic 10 year ban.

PS. I would suggest to all that at any cost don't go out of status, please. I have seen many worst cases, and it is no fun :(
