After reading that, I don't think F1 students will have any problems working on a EAD. Why would USCIS gives EAD for those who are not allowed to work? If USCIS wants you to work, then you should definitely work. TPS works as a blanket, as from my understanding. It is not an underwear, but it will hide your nudity. If you have an underwear and hiding in a blanket, and if someone removes your blanket, then you are not naked, because you are still wearing an underwear. If you are naked, and USCIS gives you blanket then it will hide your nudity for a certain period of time, but after USCIS removes that blanket then you will be left naked again. Don't remove your underwear if you don't want to be naked (Maintain your current status, even if you have TPS).

1. Many TPS applicants belong to F-1 status previously, and they should have "For Work With DHS Authorization only" marked in their social security card. Have any of you in the mentioned category has tried to change their social security card after TPS approval?
>>> I don't think it does matter, because EAD is a document from USCIS that will let you work and EAD will justify this "For Work With DHS Authorization only". I don't think you have to change the social security card. But I would love to hear from people who really changed the SS card, and they got SS with out "For Work With DHS Authorization only".

2. Does USCIS case status check still provides USPS tracking number after EAD has been dispatched from the production facility? For those who recently got approved and received the card, did you see the tracking number?
>>> It does not give you tracking number when it says "Card is mailed to me", but when it is delivered to you, USCIS will change the status of your case, and it will say "Card is delivered, and that time it will show the tracking number. It is kind a weird tho, I don't know why they don't give tracking number when they send the card.

@sanusaati
They send using USPS priority mail, but I don't think it has signature required. If you get others mails in your mailbox without problems, then they will drop your EAD in your mailbox with out verification.
