@ Pramod: The only reason I don't want to apply is like I said, I still have at least 3-4 years of school left. TPS might get renewed and extended for several years like in case of Haiti so I agree that it might be useful down the road. But my plan is to go from F-1 to H-1B and then apply for permanent residency.
And I don't want to go through the hassle/risks of AP to travel home.

Maybe I'll change my mind by the December deadline....idk
