While I do not like what is going on, but I guess part of it is because of how we kathmanduites ONLY CONSIDERED OURSELVES Nepali when we resented driving beyond dhulikhel and naubise, considered tibetans in solukhumbu and manang as Nepalese but considered tharus and 'marsiyas' as dhotis. Prithivinarayan shah and the subsequent kings only catered to the demand of thakuris and councillors, promoted the culture of kamaiya in western Nepal until late. So what can we expect out of them?
