Cool, First time hoki kyaho? My suggestion, don't pay the fine. Appeal. The fine is bad ($83) but the points in your license is worse. If you think you have time to appear in the court then appeal by all means. Sometimes the Cop won't show up hence the ruling on ur favor. Othertimes, specially in towns/villages, the judiciary system allows for Cops to negotiate with the violators. Last time I had the speeding ticket, I negotiated with the cop to level it down to a broken head light case. 0 points in my license and a small mandatory fine. Good luck and Drive safe.
