I could not understand why Modi decided to use this photograph. Looks pretty ordinary to my eyes and not worth a $1.0!
This copyright issue mentioned here is revolved very much around money, and only money.
IMHO, Modi is probably the only PM who has shown so much sympathy for Nepal. If this issue goes to court, that sympathy will turn into a trigger for tension. And Nepal does not need any more tension for another 25 years. And that too with India.
If Modi rules India for 10 years and Bimal wins the battle, then comes the question of how much. If Modi does not remain in politics, then there is not much hope in retrieving any money from him. He looks more like a Bhikari who gives away all his belongings and fortunes the moment he lays his hand on. But he is a clever bhikari who will not shed a single penny on things he considers unnecessary.
By the time, the case is decided, Modi will no longer be the PM and will be broke. He will declare banruptcy on Bimal for sure.
Bimal should find something else to indulge in, and just be proud that his photo was used by PM of India.
