wiz baba: like passin thru, my intention was never- or will never be- to ridicule nepal. if that is the way you interpreted my postings, i do apologize for that. i wasn't making fun of nepal, its culture, or the lifestyle of the nepali people. it is only out of a deep love and admiration for these things that they were posted. i do find some of the differences between america and nepal interesting and potentially funny, as i think most of the people who have posted in this thread do. i don't really consider my posts "jokes," just observations that are amusing. and as passin trhu said, there is a deep nostalgia that was at the heart of these posts. again, i apologize if this thread angered you.
