Controversial i saw an interesting comment in that link
"If your question is, how can a Hindu eat beef, as its a holy animal, I would like to give you some insight.Cow was a holy animal for Yadavas, not to all Hindus. Cow was a way to earn their living. So,you don't kill the one that earns you your daily bread , right? Nothing holy about it.
