Well if you bring an imaginary figure called god in the equation, I have nothing to say.
But living for the sake of living is not an argument. For example, an endless vegetative state of an individual without signs of improvement is not worth carrying on. Sometimes we need to learn to pull the plug for the sake of the person in the situation so that no suffering occurs.
