Many foreigners come to Kathmandu to see traditional architecture, temples and houses. So as new houses are built, emphasis should be given to maintain architecture essence that reflect traditional style. That doesn't mean people need to sacrifice safety or structural integrity. There are several civil engineering and architecture colleges which could devise courses revelant to traditional Nepali society.
