हरे भगवान यहा त कुरो कता बाट कता पुगी सकेछ!
सोमरस गुरु (sir): Please allow this fool to go into a little depth to address your original query as to how you can write off the two months with the given information. Let me give it a try:
Consider the following facts:
Sita tells Ram the month she was born.
Sita tells Shyam the day she was born.
Now from the facts above alone, had Shyam been told Sita was born on the 18th or 19th, he would have known her birthday right away. Why? Those two days i.e. 18th and 19th show up only ONCE.
Now from the logic so far, Sita didn't say it is 18th or 19th otherwise Shyam would have jumped right way and would have told what month she was born. That didn't happen.
Now the crux of your query, Somras sir:
So the day Sita told Ram must be either July or August because the dates in those two months are ALSO in another month. Again, IF Ram was told she was born in May or June, the days could be May 19 or June 18, which in turn wouldn't have made Ram so sure that Shyam didn't know.
Did it make any sense? I hope so.

No, it's not a April fool joke or anything of that nature. And no, it's not a laughing matter.
