IP Man, if you attempted to solve it, this should make some sense; however, If you didn't, I'm pretty sure, it will confuse you even more. :P :-)
Let's review the statements where the clues to this riddle are:
**Ram: I got no idea what Sita's DOB is , but I know Shyam doesn't know it either.**
**Shyam: Before you said so, I didn't know either, but I know now.**
**Ram: Then I also know when Sita's DOB (except the year) is.**
Since Ram knows Shyam doesn't know Sita's birthday, then Shyam's day must be listed more than once. If it was 18 or 19 then he'd be able to guess it.
Therefore, the month she told Ram contains only duplicate numbers. And that's either July or August.
Now that Shyam knows this and can figure out her birth day with that little information, Ram knows it's not the 14th because of the duplicate number issue again, but Shyam still wouldn't have known which month and since there's only one day left in the month that Ram was told, it must be July 16th.
