Only in Nepal : are people are not allowed to travel by tourist buses. you dont believe me? try going to ktm from pokhara by a tourist couch and huge pahalmaans will kick you out of the bus at a traffic checkpost (called dadako-naak). the reason that you may bring (for instance, this bus belongs to my uncle... or blah blah) are likely to be worthless. let's wait for a day when all the hoteliers of ktm will kick out everyone from their rented rooms (dera) and force them to eat and sleep at their hotels.
