GoFundme charges 5% of donation on top of the processor fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction.
YouCaring does not charge anything on top of the processor fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents...
They hope the donor will contribute some funds to them, and hence the editable suggested amount that any smart donor will be sure to edit and set to zero. I am positive that this will not be a deterrent to any potential donors.
