Gonecrazy,

when you say India prant or indian zone, I hope you mean भारतवर्ष or भारतीय उप-महादिप or Indian Sub-continent.

And, there have been many 'laspas" between people from different origin, so you can't say without error who is descendant of what ethnic group. I think most of the nepali jati (at least that fall under hindu barnashrarm today) are mix of Aryan who migrated to indian sub-continent from Europe through middle-east AND the Aryans who migrated to karnali Pradesh (called 'khas' mostly in recent past) from central asia/Europe through western Tibet. And people believe that there must have been enough marital exchanges between mongols from western Tibet and traveling Aryans from central asia so as to make khas settled in Karnali Pradesh a totally different ethnicity compared to relatively pure Aryan who migrated to the indian sub-continent.

shiva-linga,
....but you may know that ruling thakuris do not believe that they have some khas or mongol elements in their ancestry. It is actually a part of officially acknowledged history that thakuris are pure rajputs directly from india. The irony is that many thakuris in villages in districts in 'western development region' , who are authentic descendants of kulmandan shah, practice the 'mama ko chora /chori bibaha'. That practice is prevalent in magar and gurung community. Also, a pure Rajput is not allowed to drink liquor whereas it is permissible in pure khas.
