Ashime Bro
Thanks for the comment. let's start with my reply
All chhetri bahuns are facing the same identity crisis these days.
Many: Ashoka land belonged to all the people from afganistan to Burma to South of India and in North as far as Nepal so i do not think this is only identity crises for bahuns and Chhetris
.
I guess if you consider yourself a Nepali first, then Nepal will be your father land. But if you consider yourself a Hindu first, then Ashoka's land will be your father land.
Many: Before the quest of Kaling. i agree it  MIGHT have been a hindu country as ChandraGupt left after joining Jain Bindusar there is no record about his much except because of him Chanakya had to die. After Kaling battle he was a Buddhist king and he spread Buddha's teaching all over his kingdom present day Nepal being one so how can we clam ashoka's land as Hindu land
And if you already have the green card or whatever, then start learning about the early settlers.
Many: Sorry bro i am not a green card holder or do i live in US. I have done some reading about early settlers. In kathamandu you will see all the bihars. early settlers were converted to Buddhist and reconverted when Sankaryacharya invaded Nepal.

BTW, it will be erroneous on your part to look upon India as a homogeneous entity.
Many: I do understand that not all the parts of India follows the same culture and customs so does Nepal.
But everyone had settled in Nepal if you call them native or indigenous from the same land. some were driven out by hindus some where by muslims.
so if we look at the whole history wouldn't it be right that we are kids from Ashoka's land born in Nepal?
