SINGER PRAKRITI DEUJA PERFORMED NATIONAL ANTHEM AT NBA GAME IN WASHINGTON D.C
We are proud to announce that a nationally known singer, songwriter and composer Prakriti Deuja AKA Praks, performed the National Anthem on November 29, 2014 at The Verizon Center for NBA game between The Washington Wizards and New Orleans Pelicans. She is the first ever Nepalese American to perform The National Anthem for a NBA game in history. The singer, songwriter and composer Prakriti, is a talented 16 year old who is a junior at Centreville High School in Fairfax, Virginia. She is also an “A” student with 3.8 GPA and plans to pursue a medical career in future. Her first single “Love you so” was released in January of this year and sold several thousand via iTunes, GooglePlay and other music retail sites across the internet. Ever since she was a little child, she always played some type of instrument and started singing when she was 7 years old. She is fluent in drums, piano and guitar and likes to compose her own songs. Music is her way to relieve the stress from school and manage good grades, she says. Currently, she is working on her next single, which will be released in 2015.
