Why are you guys so eager to make or suggest english as the official language of Nepal? Why not chinese since China is becoming very influtential? Why not spanish? Why not french or german? What's wrong with you guys? We have our own language "nepali". Just make that the official language. If you want to learn a second language then go for it but do not suggest to make your second language the official language of the country. Otherwise, let's all convert to christanity, call ourselves, John, Harry and Cindy. I hear some nepalese saying the only way for Nepal to get out of mess is for the US or some European country to take over Nepal for a period of time. Why? Don't you guys believe in yourselves? Do you guys deem yourselves so incompetant? Or have you gotton so used to foriegn countries doing everything for us that all you have now learnt to do is beg? Come on man, come back to Nepal and do something here. Even if you can't change the country, you can at least change yourself, now that you have seen how things are done in developed countries. Get back in the line even if you know the guy care of the line. Show some integrity and soldarity againts injustice and let's develope the country even if it is at a low level. Everything counts. Don't suffer from inferiority complex. I know in our culture we like to criticise all the time, and that is probably how you were brought up. but don't let that be the norm. You are better than that. Just because you were told that you were "kam-nalagney" by everyone around you that you have to believe in it.
