Been working at this start-up company for about 6 months now, I am a new-bee in the IT sector. The company initially hired me to write stories to develop Android app, but due to financial or some unknown issues the project never took off. The company laid off the graphic designer working on Android designs and they switched me to iOS and Web projects. It was a sweet ride for the first few months as I was getting used to work, learning the in-outs of the job (workload was never too much, contrary to my expectation).
But then at the start of this month the company laid off 2 more employees and shifted 2 employees to part-time (one of them being me). To tell you I have nothing to do at all, besides writing few bug stories here and there. The lady who hired me is on a maternity leave and I don't have a person to report to, my project manager is a chill dude comes in at around noon (i think he works remote most of the time) and never assigns us any tasks unless we are developing some new features. We are working on developing a new feature, another BA took full responsibility as he doesn’t don’t to break down the same feature (back-end, front-end...etc). BORED! Give me something to do....
