1-3 years of fellowship for a specialty
$150k-500k in tuition debt before graduating.
And you think medical doctors should just take this profession as a voluntary service? To expect medical profession to be a charity service is blatantly wrong. Take it as any profession and respect it as a business. Nothing wrong for medical students to take it as an investment for their future. If you have the kindness to take it as a public service, even better.
