Why Nepali women practice ancient tradition of Teej

I think i want to give my two cents on this topic. Nilasha compared teej as an ancient tradition and suppression towards women. She also brought up the topic of women equality saying teej practice shows godlike devotion to the male but i beg to differ.
I think teej is more of celebrating your culture and heritage and also showing your love to your spouse. What she said might be true 15-20 years ago but not now.

Also, Mr. Magorkhe brought up issue of Bahun,chhetri etc. Seriously Dude, I thought we all are Nepalese regardless of caste, religion or social status. why do you say some bahun baje did this or that?

Well i want to write more but have lot of stuffs to wrap up before this long weekend. So, i bid adieu to you all and enjoy your long weekend. :)
