Is it a good deal?

Was the car totalled after it hit the dear? I mean does the car carry a clean title or a salvage or rebuild title. If it is a clean title, I would say it is a decent price. But one thing you would have to understand before buying a hybrid is the maintenance cost. It requires full synthetic 0w20 oil and just the oil change would cost you over $50-$60. The regular V4 car uses 4 spark plugs and this hybrid uses 8. Also, the parts are expensive than the regular civic. And another main thing you would need to consider is is how long the hybrid battery is covered for. I think states like California provide longer warranty periods for emission parts and probably does for hybrid battery(not sure) as well. If the battery goes out somehow and it is not covered, you might need to cough up 3k. People usually get 150k-200k miles life out of a single battery.
How do I know this??? I used to own a civic hybrid as well. Also, other thing I noticed is that once a hybrid starts to age, it has less resale value than a regular car. But when you buy a new one , it costs extra. I believe it is all coz of the maintenance cost associated to it.
