Hi Guys,
I really dont think it should be raised as india vs Nepal or India's influence over Nepal.
We should talk how it can be regulated with decent pay to the priest maintaining traditional aspect as religion itself assumes mythic power on traditional rites and rituals. Regarding money, a major source of earnings in Pashupatinath is from the Indian Hindus and we can exploit those indian priest to attract more Indian Hindus in Pashupatinath and other Nepali temples.
I have seen many Nepali Priest in indian temples who bring millions of Indian rupee and indians dont seem to worry whether the priest in their temple is Nepali or Indian. Actually I heard they prefer Nepali priest over other.
