This song is deplorable (I think the video is worse) but this style of music was what I heard a lot in kathmandu last time I went there (a year back). They all sounded same and there was a typical nasal tone in male voice and very low pitch sound in female's. What style of music is this? You will say Lok geet, but those were not the Lok-geet that I heard growing up (well okay, I grew up in KTM but I did hear a fair share of folk songs). Is it from certain part of the country?
