Don't know much about other stuff, but one thing is for sure, many Nepalese parents get so proud when their toddlers speak English.
These people don't know once their child go to school they will speak as good as native american (didn't mean Red Indians). I and my wife talk to our son in Nepalese and we do our best to teach all Nepalese culture and religion.
That doesn't mean we are trying to make him a typical Nepalese, he was born here and lives here rest of his life.
DON'T WE WANT INDIAN-NEPALESE'S (madhesis) CHILDREN TO BE A 'TYPICAL NEPALESE' ? THEN WHY SO MUCH FUSS ON THIS ISSUE??
