Good and bad points about consultancy in my experience. 

Have to work in different field than you have studied. 

Have to defend higher/wrong resume in interview. 

Can not start a job as a beginner, have to act like experienced even if you are not. 

Move from city to city at starting of your career. 

Might face problems in H1 and GC process. 

Good

Easy to get job, No worry of being laid off. 

Good money even after making consultancy rich. 

if you are eager and hard working, you will be in senior positions soon and will get good experience as will be travelling to different work places. 

Faster GC process as you can bargain with your consultancy.
