Can there be meaning without GOD?

I know my atheist friends believe there is no God. I believe there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. So we agree 50% atleast.

Let me share this story:
Imam Abu Hanifa (may God have mercy on him)  was asked by an atheist: “What is the evidence pointing to the existence of Allah?” and he replied, “Forget it! At the moment, I am busy thinking about this ship. People tell me there is a big ship, it contains different goods on board. There is no one to steer it, no one maintaining it. Yet, this ship keeps going back and forth; it even traverses big waves on the oceans; it stops at the locations that it is supposed to stop at; it continues in the direction that it is supposed to head. This ship has no captain and no one planning its trips.”
The atheist who posed the question interrupted and exclaimed, “What kind of strange and silly thought is this? How can any intelligent person think that some thing like this can occur?”

Abu Hanifa said, “I feel sorry about your state! You can not imagine one ship running without someone looking after its affairs; yet you think that for this whole world, which runs exactly and precisely, there is no one who looks after it, and no one owns it.”

Let's talk about the Big Bang theory. It is the latest position reached by science on the formation and beginning of the Universe.

I will let Al-Qur'an speak about it:
30. Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity (were joined together as one united piece), and We separated/parted them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe (and realize that there is a Creator)?

31. And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift/sway/shake with them, and We made therein [mountain] passes [as] roads/paths that they might be guided (to their destinations during travel).

32. And We made the sky a protected/guarded roof/ceiling, but they, from its signs (i.e. sun, moon, winds, clouds, etc.), are turning away (failing to reflect on them and thus realise that the Creator of such things can have no partner).

33. And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming/floating (in the space).

34. And We did not grant to any man before you [O Muhammad] eternity/immortality [on earth]; so if you die - would they be eternal/immortal?

35. Every soul/self (person) will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned. [Al- Qur'an 21:30-35]

"O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a sperm-drop (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. offspring of Adam), then from a clinging clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it water (rain), it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind." [Al-Qur'an 22:5]

Who could have said these things 1400 hundred years ago? Creator of the universe correct?
