yes you can! i would strongly encourage you to do some research on stock market before start buying. get an brokerage account first.  Do not be too greedy. I do not seek more than 20% return when i am doing short term. one thing is guaranteed, you will never become millionaire in short term but yes you can achieve towards it in few years. But again, search stocks first. those are my few words. IF you need technical help, please post.
