Note than an NRN card is subject to  terms and conditions that may change without much notice. I wouldn't place too much faith on it. For example, until recently, those with such a card did not need a visa to enter Nepal. However, they are now required to apply for a visa on arrival, have their photographs taken etc and are just exempt from the visa fee  - that too only because they paid the $500 fee for the NRN card. If this is anything to go by, the other benefits too could change over time as well.
