I concur! Not that I am against rap but I must admit that the lack of rapping skills of fellow Nepalese (c)rappers had  been aggravating me for over two decades.

When I accidentally listened to Girish Pranil for the first time I thought they seriously needed HELP! And my thoughts haven't changed after all these years.

Then after a long hiatus I came across Norbu who looked like he had everything - a camcorder and an amateur cameraman, several hundred dollar bills, sneakers, blings, horde of followers from Sunnyside New York, some 50 cents girls (now that literally means coins) and his lame a$$ KTMC sign.

No bueno, failed to impress me, his lyrics hovered around 'make love till the sun comes up' or somewhere along those lines. I thought he needed bigger help than Girish Pranil.

And I'd rather not talk about dirty Aroz, the stench from his rap seriously abuses my olfactory nerves. 

I also happened to listen to Yamabuddha, in all honesty, I felt he was reading a book.

Then came other junebugs like Bostonboy and Rapoholic. My eyes were filled with tears when they (c)rapped. And they, by no means, were tears of joy.

But Lahure is different. His words are piognat, his tone furious and he raps with urgency, carving his opponents like a gifted sculptor. I also like unik poet and eklavya to some extent, at least they are better than norbu and girish and yamabuddha. But Laure tops them all. He also chooses his words carefully, fuses them with humor, and his voice and delivery are unparalleled.

Again, just my two cents, I am sure there are some who hail Norbu and Girish as their instant messiah. But heck I am just penning down what I believe.
