Okay, I think we are going a little overboard.
He is asking for a room-mate who doesn't have to pay for utilities etc. In return he is asking for the roomie to drop his kids off.
I personally wouldn't take this offer, if I am paying half the rent why am I obligated to do any of your work as a condition? But I am not forced to accept this offer, right? It is a little tough proposition, but it is not completely out of whack and nobody is forced to take upon the request.
Let's be reasonable on the criticism guys; some of us are being a little too harsh.
