Buddha was born in present day Nepal, and Buddism was born in present day India.
But I feel sorry for us Nepali that we have to identify our nation as the country where Buddha was born or where MT Everest is or where Sita and Janak was born. I wish we could identify our nation by our sports, music, politics, science or business or anything that was created by the people or goverment of Nepal.
