Ambassador Shankar Sharma is a joke. He is probably busy in dance parties and picnics. It is irresponsible of him to say that he is not informed yet. They act like kings when they are in position and when they're out, they write articles of what should be done. This news has been pubished in many media, and king Sharma says he is not informed yet.

I think american embassies always try to protect its citizens anywhere and have 24 hours hotline number.
Why do nepali authorities act so irresponsibly?
The blame is also on our attitude and our sycophancy. We invite them for parties with garlands and never criticize or write to them for improvements or asking for help. Nepali organizations' first objective is to party and second objective is to party and third objective is to promote culture and literature. I am not sure if the organizations ever intend to help others.
Mr. Vijay Thapa from Virginia is already acting like he is not liable to answer or do anything. I asked question to his thread once, and he did not bother to answer. They act like 'high class' people when they are in any sort of position.
It looks like University is helping. I think it was unfortunate, and they should contact some immigration organizations for help. I hope they're contacting international students organization there. They could even bargain by saying that this is not good for university and it will send a wrong message to international students as the unwelcoming place.
