Please do not join army considering it as the easiest way to get citizenship. Life during 4 years of contract will be very very hard. I'm telling this from experience of a friend of mine who is in U.S. army. Try to find answers to these questions and decide what is right for you.

Do you truly believe in U.S. foreign policy? why were the wars in the recent past fought for? Some to name after World War II: Korean War, Vietnam War, Persian Gulf war, Afganistan War and Iraq War. Were these necessary?Joining Army means to be ready to defend the country against foreign threat. Was there a direct threat to U.S. on these wars?

'Gulf of Tonkin' incident to go to Vietnam War was a lie to Americans. Stockpile of WMDs in Iraq was a lie to Americans. I think conspiracy theorists has point regarding 9/11.
