REPUBLICA ONLINE The leaders of various student organizations attacked the team right after Shah came out of Rajbiraj’s Star Deluxe hotel where he had been staying, at 3 pm today. Eye witnesses say the assailants, some 10 to 12 in number, hurled stones and sandals at the former king, shouting anti-monarchial slogans. Police had to intervene to disperse them. Five student leaders have been held in the incident. |
