Disco, I agree with you... what u say makes sense. You must be a genetic or an anthropology student... reading the terminologies you use. When I said MM missed the target... what I meant was... he began my matrix ... then manu... then he goes to cavemen and women (here he is right about formation of gender roles)... then about superiority then in the end he goes on to point out how many words women and men speak. This is where I think he missed the target. I assumed that the thread initiator was talking more about the present day gender roles, that were one way or the other imposed (or not) by societal or cultural contexts. Of course, there is no possibility (till now) of interchanging biological roles... but gender roles, that have been given by culture/society, are interchangeable because that is in cotrol of every man and woman (but pretty difficult! :-))... I have not heard any guy ask his wife/gf to fix the plumbing yet ! SofT
