I work for one of the most successful wireless companies in San Diego, stocks and profits improving nicely, and there is a general hiring freeze... well, except for software engineers from India and China. These 'legal aliens' are well-educated, easy to work with, and will work for 40 percent less than engineers made 10 yrs ago. It's good for stockholders, but bad for all the young American software engineers who now realize that their expensive high tech educations were a bad investment. Now that both political parties have teamed up to abandon the American worker, who will be our advocate?.
