People come to US to seek better education, better job and better life. As you said, you are staying here as an illegal immigrant. You don't have a good steady job. And you don't have your family here. Do not feel disheartened that you could not achieve anything here. Sometimes, things don't go as per the plans and wants. I think you should go back home and be with your family. I'm sure you will be happy that way. Unless there is possibility for you to become legal and there's future for you here, don't stay here. Just go back home.
