I am not talking to anyone. I am just chatting.
This is a difficult question. It could be a boy, a girl, a man, a woman, a mix of both, an intelligent monkey involved in a science experiment chatting from a science lab, it could even be you or Rethink using another ID. So, for me to verify that he actually exists as a distinct individual, i have to verify him using his very own standards. Now you can see that "chatting" is not part of his verification process. 

In the worst case scenario, he could be a nigerian scammer.
