NGOs and Doctors in Nepal

@Kiddo, you gave them credit for the achievements already made. That's good. Social changes take a loooong time, not a electric switch. 850,000 NGOs  need to work day and night to make real changes. 

When you see in news about a 'so n so district being declared as an open defecation free (khulla disha mukta) district', do you see decades long effort by NGOs? by a lot of them? or you think some minister had a piffany while pooping in by the  'dhaan bari' staring towards the sunny sky? What do you think?

If you talk about corruption NGOs, I wouldn't agree with you more. There are some who are in the game only for that purpose. You know why? They all come from our fairly corrupt society, so some bad apple doesn't discount the great work done by others. We just need to look hard enough.
