This is a very sensitive issue and since you brought this up here, I would like to put my personal opinion as well.
First of all Google Alex Jones and see what type of person he is, people like him making loud noises on issue like this is just a plain M***n. How can you yell at someone like that in a Show where he was a guest is beyond my maturity. As a US Citizen if you support "the right to bear arms" I have no problem with that if it is not any assault type of military Guns. Do you really believe that citizens need an automatic guns that was used in all of the recent shootings?
I am not supporting Piers nor Alex on this one but your post just contradicts my views, If I was following the news, Piers Morgan was not against our rights to bear arms he was trying to find the notion why civil citizens needs an assault weapons ?
If you argue that Piers is "trying to take the liberty off of Americans which he could never enjoy growing up" then I dis-agree. I don't know you but in a good gesture, I will ask you this " Do you have any kid/s?" Why I ask this is because when I heard the news about Sandy Hook Shooting, my eyes were filled with tears, I was thinking about those parents who were waiting for their kids and they never came out. As a parent of a toddler that was very dis-heartening. At that moment I forgot about my rights, I am sure you felt bad but if you are not a parent you would not understand what I am referring to. (I remember when I was growing up, my Dad used to say wait till you have a kid, then you will understand, and He was so RIGHT!
At Last " You and all Citizens have rights to bear arms and be proud of your 2nd Amendment Right but how about those who lost theirs, that had same Rights to live?
PS: I am happy to hear your side of the story and this time I am not going to argue with you as both you & me have the 1st Amendment right i.e. "The Freedom of Speech"
