This was back in October of 1992 during the shooting of the movie Khudagawha in Jomsom. The initial shoot was in Afghanistan, but due to the volatile situation delevoping in Afghanistan during that time, Jomsom was selected to be the shooting spot depicting Afghanistan. Alongside Bachhan, there were other actors like Sridevi, Sonam, Kiran Kumar etc...forgot the entire list. Infact, Amitabh celebrated his B'day in Jomsom with a hand deliver cake via a RNAC flight from Kathmandu.

The interview was in a Jomsom hotel - the hotel still exists in Jomsom with a big billboard stating "The Hotel Amitabh Bachahn stayed". Anyways, among other things, the main question that set off Amitabh was something like "how do you control/manage yourself while doing a romance scene with actressess?"....Bijay Kumar Pandey was morelike having a 'coccky' attitude, if you will. 

Then came a sharp pat from Amitabh with "what are you talking about......we are artists simply performing an act"...& further went on "how could you ask such an unprofessional question" etc. Dont know the exact contents though, was a long time back.

That initiated the downfall of Pandey. Hope he's recovered well now. That is the story!
