I heard it was a major fight between two dick-heads in the 80s when Amitabh came to Kathmandu for his triple-role movie called Mahaan. Speaking of a dick-head, you should have actually observed Mr. Bachchan's hairstyle in those days. Jokes were abound among testosterone-rearing boys in my hood about that hairstyle and that "farkeko" adjective those boys used for that thing. LOL
It was said that Mr. Pandey was also adding ghee to fire by persistently prying into areas that Amitabh did not want to delve into and saw all these Bijay's inquisitions coming as an insult.
On ABs part, interviews should be treated as a dream-job interview by any interviewee. Period. One can always decline to answer or walk out respectfully especially (in that case) while large number of Nepali fans were watching the telecast. Instead,  the "Hindi filmy" icon turned into a spitfire indulging himself knee-deep into the fiasco. After all that was said and done, the Nepali fans who made angry phone calls to the TV station the next day, should have realized that the counter-insult of a Nepali journalist in a Nepali land is also a direct insult to his Nepali fans and callous Nepali onlookers.
To be fair also, Mr Pandey should have only asked about topics that would satisfy the curiosity of the Nepalis by limiting to areas that would have been more stimulating and positive. Uncovering celebrity affairs and orgies should be job of the tabloid magazine and not that of a promising journalist.

There you have it.

But that was long time ago, I hope both of these individuals have changed for better and solemnly pray that they create movies/shows of concise length for the facebookly time-constrained audience of this generation.
