Nepali Culture & Feminism is like apples and oranges.  You are talking anout a culture where women were not even allowed to own property untill recently.  Girls were not encouraged to goto school.  They were simply treated as a vehicle to carry their ancestral line.  Just look at all the history of violence bestowed upon them in dowry related matters. The whole idea of bowing down to your husband every morning like he is god ? A lot have changed now but we still have a long ways to go.
