yeah I never liked that Nepali law. How can daughter-in-law automatically demand and get half of the in-law parential property upon divorce.
What if the parent-inlaws want to donate the property for good cause than to the so called sons and their family who don't care for them and are just waiting for the parents to die.
It would only make sense if the devorsed female gets her husband's half property with written aggrement before marriage. this should also apply the other way around NEW NEPAL. Why should male be a victim!
