Homosexuality is in all races, not just westerners. Our Nepali society is against homosexuality. Therefore people hide. But i'm sure there are 100s of homo sexuals in Nepal as well. Infact, if people think its weird and destruction of culture, facts are that even animals can be gay, not just human. If you feel for men, there is no point trying to falling in love with a girl, marrying her, making her pregnant and fooling her of your actual desires. You will not only ruin your own life but the girl's life too. they say you can lie to the whole world but not yourself and trust me the best way to stay happy forever is to be truthful to yourself and to the people around you. People are gonna criticize you regardless, whether straight or gay. Specially our nepali culture is that we talk too much about others and judge others. Don't be intimidated by people who are of no help in your life but just enough to make you feel like shit. Go for what you feel and be happy. Afterall i don't think there is any bigger happiness than finding the true love of your life, whther man or woman who can understand your deepest feelings regardless all these judgmental people. I'm a straight gurl but i am not against gay and lesbian because its simply uneducated to do so and everybody has feelings...just coz we are straight doesn't mean we have to ridicule the feels of a gay man. Feel free to fall in love with a man.
