First of all you have to earn unemployment. Unemployment is an insurance, you pay premiums to it when you work in your taxes and you will qualify for it based on how much you have paid and what you are worth. Its not just available to everyone and when its available its not a crime to claim it. You  are claiming the insurance that you have been paying the premium for.

You may qualify for food stamps if you really do decide to go BUM for the rest of your life. Good luck to you !!
