Exactly, I don't understand why people are bashing this guy. He just wanted to get some ideas on how to make the best out of his credit score legally.

If you do not have anything better to say, how about not responding with personal judgemental attacks to this poor fellow who is broke right now and whom you have never met....he could be in this situation despite doing the best to survive in the USA, could be due to his student loans or anything??
